How does OratioCue work?
You write or paste your script, press play, and the text scrolls at a speaking speed you control. A cue line marks the reading position; optional modes highlight the current sentence or word. Global shortcuts work even when another app — your camera, recording software, or meeting client — is in front.
Is OratioCue a teleprompter?
Yes — a desktop teleprompter designed around the speaker. It can also record your screen and camera while you read, so the whole take happens in one place.
Can I use OratioCue for YouTube videos?
That is one of its main uses. Record video while reading from the prompter; the transparent overlay keeps your eyes near the camera lens, so you sound natural instead of scripted.
Can I use OratioCue for presentations?
Yes. Many speakers run it beside a slideshow: talking points scroll next to the deck, and a global shortcut pauses the scroll the moment a question interrupts.
